I want to help

Serving the Light

Currently, we have 140 blind students in primary and secondary school. The children come from all parts of Rwanda. They remain with us during the entire school year while we provide care and security 24/7.

Our students come from the poorest families. Their financial standing is the most influential criterion for accepting students into our Institute. Another equally important deciding factor is having an official notice from an ophthalmologist, attesting that the child is incapable of studying in a normal public school.

We don’t look at the religious background of a student. Our only concern is that they’re blind.

"This work is for God and comes from God, it has no other reason of existence"

Adoption of the Heart

Blind child has right to education, and money should not be an obstacle.  ADOPTION OF THE HEART is a program, where Donors agree to pay for the education and living costs of a blind student that attends our Institute.
